Â

Personal Information. Information you voluntarily provide, including name, email address, phone number, billing address, payment information, account login information, and other information submitted through forms, registrations, or communications.
Payment Information. When you make purchases through our Services, payment information may be processed through third-party payment providers. Preppy Prep does not directly store complete payment card information on its own servers.
Educational and Assessment Information. Information related to course enrollments, event registrations, webinar participation, customer support inquiries, and responses submitted through assessments, quizzes, tests, surveys, questionnaires, or feedback forms in connection with our educational programs.
Educational Platform Information. When a course is delivered through Google Classroom or another third-party educational platform, information such as your name, email address, coursework, assignments, and participation data may also be collected and processed by that platform's operator, as described in Section 5.
Technical and Usage Information. We may automatically collect IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, referring websites, pages viewed, time spent on pages, and website interaction data. This information helps us improve user experience and website performance.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies. Preppy Prep may use cookies, pixels, analytics tools, and similar technologies to improve functionality, personalize content, and analyze website traffic. You may disable cookies through your browser settings, although certain features may not function properly.
Â
2. How We Use Information
We may use collected information to provide educational services; process purchases and payments; manage registrations and accounts; communicate with users; send class reminders and updates; evaluate and improve curriculum effectiveness using assessment, quiz, and questionnaire results; improve website functionality; personalize user experience; respond to inquiries; analyze usage trends in aggregate or de-identified form; prevent fraud or misuse; and comply with legal obligations.
Â
3. Marketing Communications
With your consent, Preppy Prep may send newsletters, investing education updates, promotional offers, event announcements, and educational content. Marketing communications are directed to the adult who registered or made a purchase (e.g., a parent, guardian, or adult student), not directly solicited from minors.
You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe link in emails or by contacting us directly. Transactional communications related to purchases or services may still be sent.
Â
4. Payment Processing
Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers. Preppy Prep does not directly store complete payment card information on its servers. Third-party payment processors maintain their own privacy and security policies.
Â
5. Sharing of Information
Preppy Prep does not sell personal information to third parties for monetary or other valuable consideration in the ordinary course of business, and does not use assessment, quiz, or questionnaire responses to sell or license individually identifiable student data to advertisers or data brokers.
Educational Delivery Platforms. Certain Services, including online courses, are delivered through Google Classroom and other third-party educational platforms. When a course is delivered this way, a participant's name, email address, coursework, assignments, and related participation data may be shared with and processed by that platform's operator (for example, Google) under that operator's own privacy practices, in addition to this Policy. See also Section 5 of our Terms and Conditions.
We may share information with service providers, payment processors, email and marketing platforms, website hosting providers, analytics providers, and legal authorities when required by law. These third parties are permitted to use information only as necessary to provide services to Preppy Prep.
Business Transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, bankruptcy, or sale of all or a portion of Preppy Prep's assets or business, personal information may be disclosed or transferred to the acquiring or successor entity as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality protections. If such a transaction results in a materially different use of your personal information, we will provide notice as required by applicable law.
Â
6. Data Security
Preppy Prep uses commercially reasonable safeguards to help protect personal information. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials.
Breach Notification. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, Preppy Prep will notify affected individuals as required by applicable law.
Â
7. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Services, maintain records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We may retain certain information after account closure where legally permitted or required, including in connection with a business transfer described in Section 5.
Â
8. Children's and Minors' Privacy
Preppy Prep's Services, including any online courses delivered through Google Classroom or another third-party platform, are intended only for users age 13 and older. Preppy Prep does not knowingly collect personal information from, or permit registration or enrollment by, anyone under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a user under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information and terminate the associated access.
Because many participants in our programs are minors between the ages of 13 and 17, Preppy Prep additionally commits that it does not sell personal information collected from known minors and does not use it for targeted advertising directed at the minor. Registration for minors must be completed by a parent or legal guardian, consistent with our Terms and Conditions. Parents or guardians may contact us regarding any concerns involving a minor's information, including requests to review or delete it.
Note: several states have specific student data privacy laws that may apply to educational programs marketed through K-12 schools, regardless of whether the school itself pays for or hosts the service. Whether and how these laws apply to Preppy Prep's specific model (parent-paid, school-endorsed) should be confirmed with counsel.
Â
9. Third-Party Websites
Our Services may contain links to third-party websites or services. Preppy Prep is not responsible for third-party privacy practices, content, or security policies. Users should review third-party privacy policies independently.
Â
10. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access personal information, request corrections, request deletion, opt out of marketing communications, and request information regarding data usage. To exercise privacy-related requests, please contact us using the information in Section 13.
Â
11. California Privacy Rights
California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended, regarding access to personal information, deletion requests, correction requests, and disclosure of data-sharing practices. Preppy Prep does not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA, other than in connection with a business transfer as described in Section 5.
Note: the CCPA applies to businesses that meet certain revenue or data-volume thresholds (currently, roughly $26.6 million or more in annual gross revenue, buying/selling/sharing personal information of 100,000 or more California consumers or households, or deriving 50% or more of annual revenue from selling or sharing personal information). This section is included on a forward-looking basis; Preppy Prep does not currently meet these thresholds.
Â
12. Other State Privacy Rights
Residents of certain other states may have additional privacy rights under applicable state law. If you believe such rights apply to you, please contact us using the information in Section 13, and we will respond consistent with applicable law.
Â
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
Preppy Prep reserves the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes become effective upon posting to the website. Continued use of the Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
